ProxyAtlas public API
Read the public provider directory and its dated status snapshots. No account, API key, OAuth token, or agent registration is required.
Find providers
GET https://proxy-atlas.com/api/providersOptional query parameters: q (up to 200 characters, searches names and descriptions) and type (all, Residential, Datacenter, ISP, Mobile; case-sensitive).
Example: https://proxy-atlas.com/api/providers?q=bright&type=Residential
The JSON response contains count, total, notice and providers. An empty search returns an empty list. Invalid filters return HTTP 400.
Read a provider
GET https://proxy-atlas.com/api/providers/bright-dataEach provider includes name, slug, url, types, description, headquarters, source links, profileUrl and status. Status includes sourceUrl, checkedAt, status and service components with name, uptime, period and status. Unavailable status is null. Unknown slugs return HTTP 404.
Interpret the data
Provider-reported status snapshots, not live monitoring or independent speed benchmarks. Preserve source URLs, check times, service names and reporting periods. Missing status is unknown, not downtime. Directory order is not a performance ranking.
Health and discovery
GET https://proxy-atlas.com/api/health checks the public directory service only; it does not check provider uptime or private systems.OpenAPI description · API catalog · Agent catalog · Agent skill
MCP and browser tools
Connect an MCP client using Streamable HTTP at https://proxy-atlas.com/mcp. The server is stateless and offers search_providers and get_provider. It supports JSON responses; clients send Accept: application/json, text/event-stream. There is no persistent event stream or session deletion endpoint.
The same read-only tools register on page load in browsers supporting WebMCP. They do not submit forms, register accounts, or start proxy tests.
Markdown
Request a page with Accept: text/markdown for a Markdown representation of its rendered HTML. Browsers receive HTML by default. Responses vary on Accept. Markdown token counts are estimates.
Authentication and signup
auth.md describes public access. ProxyAtlas does not operate an OAuth authorization server, issue access tokens, or provide protected public APIs. OAuth discovery and protected resource metadata are therefore not applicable.
The separate analytics interest form requires the person's explicit consent and creates a private follow-up request, not an account or API credential. It is not exposed as an agent tool.
